Grandma

Verse 1
I look up next thing that I know  Laid up in this Death bed alone  Not knowing where I’ve been, or where time has gone  Never dreamed I’d look up and say  God take me back so I can change  The mistakes that I’ve made and the turns that I  wish I could take

Well we’d start our day momma comin’ in sayin’ son go pick a switch
After a few times of trying to get us outta bed, we deserved every bit
It was a little bit of school and a lot a bit of play every day out in the woods
If I could do it all again, I’d do it the same, Man I wish we could

Momma’d open up the door and say just be back some time before bed
We’d head down the road to trails around the lake and we’d never come home without mud on our face
